A-Mark Precious Metals, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMRK) was founded in 1965 and has become a leading force in the precious metals market. The company provides a wide range of gold, silver, platinum, palladium, and copper bullion, numismatic coins, and related products to both wholesale and retail customers through a diverse, fully integrated portfolio of channels.

Challenge

As the only Fortune 500 company focusing on precious metals and its ancillary services, A-Mark’s industry presence is hard to ignore. However, after a rapid expansion, A-Mark found that its marketing efforts did not align with its new, larger footprint. It needed next-level content to reflect its expanded offerings to clients, investors, and the media.

Action

We began by genuinely getting to know the A-Mark business through a 360-degree approach. After conducting extensive interviews across the business, from the CEO to the call center representatives, we learned the business insights from those who knew it the best. Then, our team evaluated the competition and examined the target audiences to drill down into A-Mark’s unique place in the industry. We launched a multi-media approach of photography, video, and website assets to enhance their online presence and provide endless content opportunities. After traveling to the various company locations to capture footage, we got to know even more A-Mark employees, who provided unique perspectives and valuable insights.

The Results
The first and most obvious solution was a website that matched A-Mark’s prestigious place in the industry. We also captured a tremendous amount of still and video images for the company to use in sales decks, investor presentations, social media, and marketing efforts. Finally, we produced a comprehensive and compelling corporate video that provides a flexible illustration of the company’s positioning while enabling simple editing to add or delete offerings as the organization evolves. Capturing this exciting moment in A-Mark’s history and, along with it, the passion and foresight of those who make it a success is an effort we celebrate with pride.
